Well mate I am in same boat as you really...and have added problem of being a complete "newbie".
However I am pleased to report that there ARE guys out there (and on this site) who are into this. Had a great sesh this week at Pippa's in Manchester (won't say who the other guy was as I believe in discretion) but after a brief sparring start he got me against the ropes and landed a few good ones. Then (with my entire agreement and also mainly my suggestion) he tied me to the corner post and ropes and let me have some more. The results are plain to see in my photo on my profile (swollen lip and black eye - "badges of honour"). Loved every minute of it and looking for more in future (as long as no hospital visit needed that is fine).
Title really says it all, would love to glove up and get my ass kicked by my opponent. We go a few rounds, you work me over, if you don't want me to fight back then I won't. Face shots and gut punches are fine, would like to come out a bit bruised up. Anyone down?
Start you off up against the wall, and begin to test you out, building up to harder blows. Then put you in various positions, and pounding you. You'd be bound for most of it.
