Ryan vs Samuel school rivalry [Episode 2]
After posing, they continued to stare at each other while putting their uniforms back on. A conversation ensued between them.
Samuel: "What grade are you in?"
Ryan: "80kg."
Samuel: "Okay, next time I'll wait for you at a big event."
Ryan: "Can't wait for that."
The competitive aura between them began to emerge. Eventually, the dismissal bell rang. Mike approached them and said, "You guys were awesome earlier. Check this out, I recorded a video," showing them the video he took.
Samuel: "Your abs still look a bit flabby, Ryan. You need to diet more. Look at me, I'm much sharper than you."
Ryan: "Your body still looks dry. Get your diet right before you give me advice."
Samuel: "Just watch, I always come in first, beating even the seniors."
Ryan: "How many trophies do you have? Come to my house, and I'll show you how many I've won, hah!"
Samuel: "Bring it on! I'll show you my trophies!"
Ryan and Samuel started to argue heatedly. Mike, hearing the debate, quickly stepped in to separate them and prevent a fight.
Mike: "Enough, enough! Stop arguing, guys. I thought since you both have the same hobby, you'd get along, but instead, you're at each other's throats. Tomorrow, I'll sit with Samuel again, Ryan. You sit with Dion. Okay?"
Ryan: "Okay."
Everyone hurried home. Upon arriving home, Ryan immediately started weight training. His room was filled with various sizes of dumbbells. In contrast, Samuel's home was filled with anger. He quickly took off his clothes and began punching his punching bag hard, a sign of his boiling anger. His mother approached him.
"What's wrong, son? You come home and start punching the bag," said his mother.
"Nothing, Mom. I'm just frustrated with someone. There's a new kid who's really arrogant and cocky!" Samuel explained.
"Be patient, dear. If someone is like that, you shouldn't back down. Fight fire with fire so they don't take you for granted," his mother advised.
"You're right, Mom. I was born a champion. I can't lose, Mom," Samuel exclaimed.
"Yes, dear. Keep up the good work, but don't forget to eat," his mother said.
"Okay, Mom," Samuel replied.
The next day at school, the students gathered on the field for their Physical Education class. Today's activity was volleyball. Mr.Radcliffe, the PE teacher, directed the students to divide into several groups to play volleyball. The one-and-a-half-hour class was fun and sportsmanlike. After the PE class, some students returned to the classroom, while others went to the canteen.
Ryan hurried into the classroom because the weather was very hot. He took off his PE shirt and grabbed a book to fan himself. Several classmates, including Mike, gathered around Ryan and asked him about the sports he was involved in. Not long after, Samuel arrived, drinking mineral water, and entered the classroom.
A classmate approached him and said, "Sam, you've got some serious competition now. You're not the only big guy in class anymore."
Samuel replied, "Being big doesn't mean you're strong."
"Seriously, Sam? Let's prove it then, between you and Ryan, who's stronger?" the classmate challenged.
"Who's afraid?" Samuel shouted.
The classmate then approached Ryan and said, "Ryan, Samuel is challenging you to a strength contest. Come on, arm wrestle him. Are you up for it, Ryan?"
Ryan, who was sitting without a shirt, stood up and said, "Okay, who's afraid?"
Samuel put down his water bottle and took off his shirt, doing a small warm-up for his muscles. The chairs and desks were quickly moved to the front of the class by their classmates to serve as the arm-wrestling platform. Both of them walked to the chairs, doing small warm-ups for their muscles. The students in the class split into two factions. Some gave small massages to both of them.
Mike, as the referee, introduced Ryan and Samuel like an MC at a boxing match. Ryan and Samuel sat facing each other and immediately started arm wrestling. The test of strength began. Their muscles bulged significantly. Both of them exerted all their strength, and their hands remained steady in the middle, indicating they were equally strong. The cheers from their classmates kept them from stopping. Sweat began to pour. Their neck veins became visible. Their biceps looked like they were about to burst. They were evenly matched. In the final seconds, Ryan began to tire, and Samuel managed to pin Ryan's hand. The students in the class shouted, "Again!! Again!!" for a second round.
The second round was ready to begin, with sweat already drenching their bodies. Both were given water first, and the arm wrestling resumed. They were still equally strong. This time, both of them let out loud cries, indicating they were giving it their all. Ryan was more aggressive in this round, but Samuel didn't want to lose and kept resisting Ryan's pushes. The second round was won by Ryan. Samuel looked a bit weak. The arm wrestling ended in a draw! They were about to start the third round when the break bell rang, and the students quickly dispersed because the next class was with a strict teacher who demanded punctuality.
