Sounds like your gym is a cardio boxing gym similar to 9Round. There never is any real sparring or boxing at these. I would recommend joining a new boxing gym and asking them what their policy is on sparring.

Why that? How could you ever learn boxing without doing it. It’s like swimming but only without water… sensless

Just due to the insurance policy. A lot of gyms don't carry the policy for physical interaction, so that's why they don't allow sparring. Most legit boxing gyms will have you sign a waiver for medical and physical damage and well-being

But that won’t apply for his situation for in Germany there is a general health insurance for everyone that also insured the risks of combat sports. In addition to that the general sort associations also have special sport-insurance for every club listed there (if the club is listed what it definitely should) so insurance is doubled for Boxers in Germany for every damage that happened (if there is not a mayor foul that caused the accident but then it’s in the liability of the person who did the damage, not the club)

I know this is way different in the us according to the legal system and the not mandatory health insurance, but these circumstances don’t exist here

Since I Box since 4.5 years I wonder, when the appropriate time for sparring is.
I am in 2 gyms. In one of them some guys Box as long as me, but there is no sparring. I feel that boaring.
In the other gym it is possible to spar, but difficult to find the approbiate opponent, since I have almost no esperience.
What are Your esperiences?

Try Combat-Berlin! They do kickboxing, not boxing, but I have an impression they will allow you to spar, because they are quite combat-focused. Arrange for a visit with them, and go, see, and ask questions.

Hi. 4.5 years without sparring is definitely not as it should be. Normally you should have your first light sparring about 3-6 month after you started. You should know the basic punches and footwork and have at least some defensive skills like blocking and dodging.

Your sparringpartner can also be more experienced but they have to adapt to your skills. Sparring ist practice and learning and not to knock each other out. In our club the first sparring is nearly every time with the coach. They can adapt and also give advice after the session.

Sounds hard but a gym without sparring is not a boxing gym but a fitness club… forget about that if you want to learn boxing. Also nearly everybody can calm himself a coach but not everyone is licensed by a boxing association (you should ask for that).

Also ask the boxers in the other club (where there is sparring) if you could have a light technical spar with them. Most will agree and not kill you. (When I started I had my first sparring ever with the Bavarian vice-champion of the year… lighter than me but incredibly skilled). If that isn’t possible change the gym.

I would recommend a classical amateur boxing club with a competition team. Even if you do that just for fun the coaches approach to training is different to these commercial or fitness gyms. You are trained as if you would compete and this is what boxing is all about. In my eyes there is only one valid way to train boxing. You have to prepare the boxer for a competition even if he never does one. But he should be able to. Every other approach is disrespectful to you and your will to box and just a way to get money out of you without delivering what you deserve: a proper training. 🥊

(I am licensed amateur boxing coach myself so I know about these difficulties)

P.S.
🤣🤣🤣 hab gerade gesehen dass du aus Deutschland kommst, hätte ich auch gleich auf deutsch schreiben können. Na so verstehen es noch mehr Leute. Schreib mich an wenn du noch Tipps brauchst.
