Once in a while there is a story in the papers or on TV involving gut punching. I was wondering if anyone has any memories of these kinds of stories. Here are a couple I recall that really got my attention.
One was on the 60 Minutes TV show about a judge in San Francisco who use to have teenage delinquents brought into his office where he would lecture them and then he would gut punch them. Made me want to be a delinquent.
Another was in my local small city newspaper. One guy in a local factory filed charges against his low level manager. He claimed that over the course of a couple months this guy would gut punch him on a regular basis. The paper had a detailed story and the manager seemed to be doing this because he liked the victim. This was years ago before the internet otherwise I would have contacted this guy to volunteer to be his punching bag.
